Sorry....

Sorry I haven't kept up with this lately. In the past couple weeks we found out we were expecting baby #3! I've had more morning sickness with this pregnancy than either of the other two. Actually, for me it's all day sickness. :( I've just kind of gone into survival mode. Keeping up with my busy two and trying to keep the house running has been about all I could handle. I'll try to keep up with this a little better, since it seems like I may be getting the queasiness under control.

Thanks for your patience.

Calling All Nashville Area Readers....

This is an incredible week at the Nashville area Krogers. Not only is Kroger having a good Mega Event over the next two weeks, but from Sept. 16-22 seven of the Nashville area stores are offering triple coupons up to 99 cents to compete with the Harris Teeter triples! The stores participating are listed here. You can check out Jenny's Harris Teeter list for triples ideas. Make sure you also check out her list for the Mega Event. Kroger is limiting it to 20 tripled coupons per transaction, but you can do multiple transactions per day. I'm planning on loading up tomorrow and going to Nashville to wipe them out! ;)
Also, since this is a Mega Event, you could actually work it out to get overage on your transaction. Here's how - if you can work it out so your subtotals are zero before the $5.00 comes off for your ten Mega Event items, you can purchase a Kroger gift card for the overage amount, and they will essentially be giving you money back. This would also work with the ecoupons from Shortcuts.com and Cellfire.

Happy Shopping!!

$5 off Luvs Diapers!

Sign up here and join the Luvs network. You get a $1/1 coupon immediately emailed to you, and tomorrow a $5/1 coupon will be made available to members. Since Luvs are usually priced at $8 or less, this should make for some pretty cheap diapers.

Summer Clearance at CVS

CVS has their summer merchandise clearanced to 90$ off! I picked up Disney flip flops for the kids for $.49 each. My store also had Huggies Little Swimmers marked down to $.89 each. If you use the $1.50/1 Huggies coupons here these would be better than free. I don't know if all stores accept coupons with overage, but even if you can't use the coupons, this is a great deal!

Hurry before they're all gone!

More Great Coupons!

Go here to print $2/1 coupons for Healthy Choice Mixers and Frozen Dinners. These usually run $2.00 - $2.50, so you should be able to get them free or almost free. Kroger has the frozen dinners on sale for $2.20 this week.

**UPDATE**
The frozen dinners are actually on sale for $1.85 at my Kroger. Not sure what area this covers, but it's a moneymaker with the coupon.

Great Pillsbury Coupons

Click here for a $1/1 coupon for Pillsbury Sweet Rolls

Click here for a $1/1 coupon for Pillsbury Toaster Strudel

These should be free or almost free, especially if you combine them with a Cellfire or Shortcuts e-coupon.

Free or Almost Free at Walmart

Check out your travel size section Walmart for free or almost free items!
A few I found this week -
Clean and Clear Cream Cleanser $.97 each ($1/1 cpn from 8/2 SS)
Shout Wipes - Clearanced to $.75 each ($.55 cpn from 7/12 or 8/2 SS)
Pull-Ups Wipes $1.64 ($2/2 cpn here)
Johnson's Baby Bedtime Lotion $.97 ($2/2 cpn here)

The trick to the travel size deals is to watch for cpns that say "on any" or don't have a size restriction.

Here's some deals elsewhere in the store -
Glade Fragrance Collection candles $2.99 ($3/1 cpn here, try entering your zip code, and selecting 50 mile radius if it doesn't show.) My store doesn't have these, but I've heard some stores do.
Chinet Plates 36 ct $2.36 ($2/1 cpn from 8/9 SS)

Check out The Centsible Sawyer for more great deals

25 Cent Oatmeal at CVS!

Here's a great unadvertised deal at CVS. My CVS has Mom's Best Naturals oatmeal in a dollar section at the front of the store. Use the $.75/1 cpn here to get it for $.25 each. If you use the back button on your browser, you can print the coupon twice. My store has smaller canisters of quick oats, or 6 packs of instant maple and brown sugar in this section.

Time to Clean!

It's the end of another month, so now is a good time to clean out your coupon file.

Here's a easy charity opportunity - you can donate your expired coupons to military families overseas. Commissaries at oversea bases will accept coupons past their expiration date. Check out this website for more information.

Great Week at CVS!

This week will be a really good one at CVS. There's lots of things free after ECBs. Several of them will be moneymakers with coupons.
My favorite moneymaker is Glade Fragrance collection candles or diffusers. I love these! They smell really good.
You can also get Aquafresh and Sensodyne free after coupons and ECBs. For a full list of matchups see Southern Savers, Money Saving Mom, or Frugal Coupon Living. They all have great lists.

Free Bacon

Go here to print a $3.00 coupon for Smithfield bacon. You do have to register to print it. Use your back button to print two. This is priced $2.98 at my Kroger store. I've heard that Walmart has it for $2.58, but I don't know if Walmart would take a coupon with that much overage. You can also go here and load Smithfield e-coupons onto your Kroger card. There is a $0.75 e-coupon for the bacon there. So, after the coupon and e-coupon you can make $0.77 on the bacon.

FREE Chocolate!!

It's Free Chocolate Friday again! Click here to register. The coupon will be mailed to you in about 2 weeks

Free 8x10 Photo Collage

Walgreens has their 8x10 photo collages for free today only with coupon code "funday". Just make sure you select store pickup, so you don't have to pay shipping.

I ordered mine this afternoon and picked it up about 2 hours later.

B1G1 at Ruby Tuesdays

Sign up here for the Ruby Tuesdays "So Connected" club and receive a coupon for B1G1 on any entree. This is one of my husband and I's favorite special date spots, so this will make it a relatively cheap date.

All Target cpns can be printed here. Some Target stores will only let you use one like Target cpn per transaction.

These deals should be good for the entire week, but prices do vary some from store to store.

Great Trip to Publix and Target

I went to Publix and Target tonight. I don't go every week, because my closest stores are about 40 miles away. I scored big time tonight. It's too late to post details, but I got a total of about $175 worth of groceries for about $30. I'll post details tomorrow.

Freebies at Bath and Body Works

Click here for a coupon for a free lip item with purchase.

Here for a free travel size item with purchase.

Both coupons say "on any purchase" so if you bought a clearance item, this could be a pretty good deal.

**Update** My B&BW has nail files for $1. I bought one nail file and got a travel size perfume, and a C.O. Bigelow lip balm for $1! Regular price without the coupons would have been $13.50.

$20 Off at Ann Taylor Today Only!

Go here to print a coupon for $20 off a full price purchase of $20 or more. I've never seen a coupon like this for Ann Taylor before. Too bad my nearest store is 50 miles away. The coupon expires today, so hurry up!

FREE Pink Lotion

Print this coupon here for a free 1 ounce bottle of Victoria Secret's Pink Lotion. No purchase necessary.
